Security & Data Protection

Last updated: March 15, 2026

Canyon Construction Inc. takes the security and confidentiality of client information seriously. Whether it's your project contracts, architectural drawings, financial agreements, or personal contact details, we protect your data with robust technical and organizational safeguards.

1. Client Data & Document Security

All project-related documents and client information shared with Canyon Construction are protected as follows:

  • Secure Document Storage: All project documents — contracts, blueprints, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and financial records — are stored in encrypted, access-controlled systems. Only authorized Canyon Construction personnel and designated client representatives have access.
  • Data Encryption: Sensitive project files and client records are encrypted both in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256) when stored digitally.
  • Physical Security: Paper records containing sensitive client information are stored in locked file systems at our Miami Beach headquarters and destroyed securely when no longer required.

2. Confidentiality & NDA Policy

Canyon Construction treats all client project information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose the scope, budget, location, or design details of any project to third parties without the client's prior written consent. Upon request, Canyon Construction will execute a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before pre-construction discussions commence.

3. Secure Client Project Portal

Our client project portal provides secure, role-based access to project documents, schedules, RFI logs, and progress photos:

  • Password-Protected Access: Each client receives unique login credentials. Access is limited to their specific project data only.
  • Role-Based Permissions: Project owners, architects, lenders, and other stakeholders can be granted view-only or full access as appropriate.
  • Audit Logging: All document access and downloads are logged for security and compliance purposes.

4. Financial Information Protection

Canyon Construction does not store client payment card information. All financial transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment processors. AIA billing documents, lien waivers, and subcontractor pay applications are stored securely and shared only with authorized parties.

5. Subcontractor & Vendor Data Handling

Canyon Construction requires all subcontractors and material vendors to maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding client projects. Subcontractors are contractually prohibited from disclosing client information, project locations, or design details to unauthorized parties.

6. Security Contact

To report a potential security concern or request information about our data security practices, please contact us at info@canyonconstruct.com or call +1 (305) 741-8320. We take all security inquiries seriously and will respond within one business day.
